So, yes, you shouldn’t be dying too much, but you’ll still die eventually, and in those situations when you die (because of a misplay of yours or because your whole team died), you want to be able to get your special back as quickly as possible. So I felt absolutely no difference in that regard when I tested myself using OS for that purpose and I wasn’t getting more kills through Armor because of it. But with Charger, you’re always going to need 1 shot to break armor (even if you’re tap shooting), and it’s always just a tap shot (or another fully charged shot) to kill them after that. OS helps a shooter against Armor because a single shot will break armor, when normally it wouldn’t, for certain weapons. People also mentioned simply countering Armor (but no Charger main said that), but that doesn’t make much sense to me, as Charger is different than, say, a shooter, for example. In my experience, I really can feel the difference for that, as without OS Armor hard counters Ray.
